Cookies and Advertising
What is, and is not, running on the site.
Template for review. This page is a starting draft, not legal advice, and it does not make the site compliant with any law by itself. Review it, adapt it to how you actually run the site, and consider having a qualified professional check it before you rely on it.

Current status of this build
- Cookies set by CrockBites: none.
- Analytics: not enabled.
- Advertising: not enabled. No ads are shown.
If you turn on analytics or ads
Replace the status above with accurate details. At a minimum, cover the points below.
- Which third parties are involved (for example Google) and what they collect, such as cookies, device identifiers and IP address.
- Why it is collected: measuring traffic, showing ads, or personalizing ads.
- How people can opt out. For Google’s ads, see Google’s ad settings and its page on how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
- How consent is requested. Visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland generally need to be asked before non-essential cookies are used, and Google requires a consent management platform for AdSense in those regions. Check Google’s current requirements before launch.
Advertising disclosure
If ads are enabled later, they will be labelled “Advertisement” and kept separate from recipe content. Ads will not appear inside ingredient lists or instructions. [Add affiliate-link disclosures here if you ever use affiliate links.]
